This one runs 8.4mm — genuinely thin for an analog watch with a full quartz movement inside, not just a marketing number. Why Thinness Is a Movement-Engineering Problem, Not a Design Choice A quartz movement needs a battery, a circuit, and a small motor turning the hands — components that all take up physical depth inside the case. Cramming those into a slim profile means the internal components have to be engineered smaller and flatter than a standard-thickness movement, not just housed in a thinner outer shell. That's why genuinely thin watches tend to cost more to manufacture than bulkier ones with the ...

Men's fall transition outfit two ways — minimal white tee with beige pants vs layered olive overshirt look

Okay so I've been thinking about fall outfits since June and I'm not even sorry about it.

Because fall dressing is genuinely my favorite thing to think about. That specific moment when the air gets a little cooler and you can finally add a layer without dying — there's nothing better. And this image is exactly what I mean.

Same guy. Same beige chinos. Same white sneakers. Same street somewhere in Europe with those beautiful golden trees in the background that are already giving September energy.

But left side and right side feel completely different. And the only thing that changed is one layer.

Left — cream white tee, beige chinos, white sneakers, watch, sunglasses, coffee in hand. That's it. Clean. Minimal. The kind of outfit that looks like you woke up like this. There's something about a well fitted cream tee with beige chinos that just works in a way I can't fully explain. It shouldn't be this good. It just is.

Right — same white tee underneath but now there's an olive green overshirt on top. Unbuttoned, relaxed, those little chest pockets doing everything. And suddenly the whole thing has this completely different weight to it. It feels like fall. Actually feels like it. Like leaves and cool mornings and wrapping your hands around a warm cup.

The olive green is what makes the right side so specifically perfect for fall by the way. It's not just a layer — it's the right layer. That earthy deep green against beige and white is the combination September was literally invented for. Love that vibe.

And here's what I keep coming back to —

If you get cold just throw the overshirt on. If it warms up take it off. You still look good. Both times. No outfit change needed. No going back home. Just — adjust and continue your day.

I've been looking at fall outfit ideas for weeks now and this is honestly the most practical and the most beautiful version of that I've seen. Two looks, one base, zero stress.

Left side is giving clean European city morning. Right side is giving first day of fall in Paris and I think about it constantly.

Which one are you wearing though. Because I already know my answer. 🍂
